3D Record Printing, Friday 13 December 11.30am – 8pm, Saturday 14 December 11.30am – 7.30pm, FREE
Come down to The Vinyl Factory and get your hands on a record that’s unlike any other…
3D printing freaks us out a little bit as it feels like it could be used for good or evil… luckily, Bacardi Beginnings is using it for good by opening the world’s first 3D printing record store for two days. You can buy a brand new track by Kele Okereke (Bloc Party) and Bobbie Gordon, which has been recorded on 3D printed vinyl.
Each record, priced at £10, will also be sold in limited edition record sleeves specially designed by Kate Moross. Famed for her energetic style and love of three sided shapes and typography, the London based illustrator, designer and art director has created four different cover designs for fans to choose from.
