The billionaire entrepreneur rang the Two and Half Men star to congratulate him on his space trip choice.

“He is as thrilled as we are at the prospect of being among the first to cross the final frontier with us and to experience the magic of space for himself,” Branson wrote on his blog.

The £126,000 price tag takes you into suborbital space aboard a shuttle that travels around the outer reaches of the earth’s orbit in a 150 minute journey that includes roughly five minutes of weightlessness.

Many businessmen, celebrities and important wealthy folk have signed up for the experience, which offers views of the earth hiterhto only witnessed by astronauts, but it is Branson’s plan to make this experience one that is available to everyone, not just the super rich.

Virgin Galactic is expected to start flights to space next year.
