This year’s Mobo Awards will provide a venue for super-smooth group Boyz II Men to celebrate their 20th anniversary, with a special performance.
The R&B lotharios will sing a medley of all their best hits, plus they’ll give fans a preview of their album Twenty, which is due to be released in October.
Wanya Morris said: "We have always been fans of the Mobo Awards and to have the opportunity to perform while celebrating our 20th anniversary is not only exciting, but very humbling. We LOVE going to the UK – we are trying to find a way to stay over there and hang for a few days!"
His bandmate Shawn Stockman added: "When we got asked to do the Mobo Awards, it was a quick 'Oh hell yes!'"
The awards, which will take place at the Glasgow SECC on October 5, will be hosted by R&B sensation Jason Derulo and a glamorous female co-host who is yet to be revealed.
There will also be performances from pop icons Jessie J, Katy B and Alexis Jordan, with more to be announced soon.
The 16-year-old awards, which champion black music and culture to mainstream status, have in the past hosted performances from artists such as P Diddy, Tinie Tempah, Dionne Warwick, Tina Turner, Jay-Z and John Legend.
