Tell us more about Crewsaders – and how the company was founded…
Crewsaders provides crew, promotional staff and event security to the event and media production sectors in the UK and Europe. Our crew assist in building almost every element that makes up an event; including lighting, staging, sound, video, set and scenery.
The company was founded by a Kiwi and named after his favourite rugby side – Crusaders. Crewsaders operates across the UK and has six bases, including London, Birmingham, the South West, Manchester, Leeds and Scotland.

Our company values of professionalism, efficiency and respect have propelled our reputation as a premium event crew and event staff services supplier to the event and media production sectors in the UK and Europe. Organisers and producers who demand the best need look no further.
International experience and professionalism combined with well-trained event crew, event staff and event security operatives, ensures that we provide our clients with an unlimited scope and depth of event and media industry knowledge and experience. Being familiar with the venues, production managers and technicians in and around the UK adds a personal touch to our services.
What kind of people do you look to recruit?
We target mostly antipodeans, primarily for their work ethic and good nature. We have found that due to a strong sports culture and education within Australia, NZ and SA, the guys coming over are fit, keen and have the perfect attitude – all the traits of a Crewsaders crewman!

Crewing is a good option for Antipodeans because it allows them the flexibility to travel whenever they want. We have a work hard/play hard culture, and as this company was started by an Antipodean whose aim was to “work-to-travel”, the values and culture was structured in such a way that would allow for the guys to get out and see the world.
Because Crewsaders is based across the UK, our crewmen get to see places in the UK and Europe, by working on big production road shows, etc. Our boys will also work in some of the world’s greatest venues, including the Royal Albert Hall, the O2 Arena, the Roundhouse, and even Abbey Road Studios, where we are the preferred suppliers.
