A teenager who sprayed The Cenotaph war memorial with graffiti has been grassed up by her mum.
War veterans were devastated when they discovered the obscene pink graffiti which showed a drawing of a male body part with the words “I love Luke x” and “Spar’s”.
Police used the nickname to find the girl and her mum later shopped her daughter after finding the spray paint can in her school bag.
The teenager from Dudley, West Mids, will be sentenced for criminal damage in a youth court tomorrow.
The cleaning bill for The Cenotaph came to £600.
