Stars on the Run is essentially a group running club, with emphasis on individual performance, suitable for anyone from casual runners to half-marathon runners who want to go that extra mile … or 13.
Sign up and you can trust you’re in good hands. Richard Coates, a personal trainer and Stars gym’s general manager, puts runners through their paces alongside former Commonwealth marathon runner Keith Anderson, who is now the owner and head coach of running club Full Potential.
Lasting until the London Marathon on April 22, this programme features twice-weekly runs – including interval training – with Coates, taking in a path along the Thames, or around Battersea Park.
Each participant also gets a personalised training programme devised by Anderson, who is always on hand to discuss personal progress. With so much support, there’s less of a chance you’ll slack off. Each fortnight of training costs £50 for non-members. Good luck!
