Crocodile found wandering the streets of Southport on the Gold Coast

In an area more likely to have handbags made out of the critter, the rail crew were no doubt grateful it was barely 30cm long.

The juvenile croc was a long way from home as they rarely venture south of the tropics. 

However, it’s not unusual for a crocodile to escape captivity. 

This one was captured quickly by the workers and taken to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.
