The recently launched Portaledge Picnic combines the best of this; the great outdoors and delicious locally sourced food. Visitors can enjoy a private picnic whilst experiencing breath-taking views of Mount Buffalo, suspended 300 metres above the valley floor.
Daring diners will first climb to the top of the Buffalo Gorge to admire the view before abseiling down 25 or 45m to their own private portaledge for a picnic at high altitude.
The portaledge picnic experience is open for booking until June 2016 and costs $390 per couple (approximately £193).
