Getting There

Many budget airlines fly into Dublin Airport, including Ryanair, and Aer Lingus. The airport is on the outskirts of the city with no train service, so you’ll either need to catch a taxi (around €20, about 20 mins) or a bus.

The cheaper option is the Dublin Bus (about £3 one-way) but this does make a number of stops through the city so is not the best if you are in a hurry. Other shuttle bus services include Aircoach and Airlink Express Coach (between £6-£8 one-way), which are much quicker. Check for times.

Getting Around

Bus

Dublin is fairly easy to navigate on foot, but if you begin to tire the Dublin Bus service runs throughout the city. You will need the exact fare for boarding and it is not 24 hours.

Train

DART train services run to the coast and to the outer suburbs of the city.

Car

The traffic in Dublin is congested, so if driving yourself look for park and ride areas and make sure your accommodation has secure parking nearby.
