The London Fire Brigade described the downpour as ‘biblical’.

And it’s set to turn really cold next week according to the Met Office, with the tail-end of Hurricane Bertha, set to blow the cold from Scandinavia down to Britain, with temperatures in some parts of the country dropping to as low as 2C.
