Two men have been found guilty in the Hackney murder trial and will serve a minimum of 32 years each for the shooting of 16-year-old Agnes Sina-Inakoju, in a gang-related incident.

Agnes Sina-Inakoju was caught in the crossfire when London Fields gang member Leon Dunkley, 21, indiscriminately fired a submachine gun through the window of a Hoxton pizza shop.

The shooting took place in April last year and today police released CCTV footage of the crime.

Dunkley and fellow gang member Mohammed Smoured, 21, both from Hackney, can be seen to cycle up to the Hoxton Chicken and Pizza Shop before Dunkley pulls out his gun and fires.

The shooting was thought to be part of an on-going feud between gangs from different parts of East London.

It is thought that a member of the London Fields gang had been beaten up by rivals the Hoxton Boys. The shooting was in retaliation and Dunkley was expecting his targets to be hanging out in the pizza shop.

Sina-Inakoju was not involved in gangs and has been described as bright and popular with an exciting future ahead of her, including plans to go to Oxford University.

Dunkley and Smoured were convicted of the murder of Agnes Sina-Inakoju at the Old Bailey today and have been sentenced to life.

Meanwhile, Agnes’ brother Abiola Inakoju said he would be able to forgive his sister’s killers.

“If they can forgive themselves for what they have done I would forgive them,” he said.

However the 16-year-old’s brother continued that he would have nothing to say to Dunkley or Smoured.

“I don’t think I would want to talk to them,” he said.

“Talking is about having a civilised conversation – you exchange words which are meaningful.  We would not be able to talk, we would shout.”
