Gavin Henson revealed that he’d be keen to get involved with Cheryl Cole after his Strictly Come Dancing exit last night.
Talking about his performance on the dance show, the 28-year-old Welsh rugby player said:
“I’ve loved every minute. I’m gutted not to have reached the final,
I’ve never been a good loser, but some of the guys left in the
competition are absolutely incredible. I’ll just have to use my dancing
skills elsewhere now, with a bit of luck it might help me bag myself a
new girlfriend.”
New chapter for Charlotte Church
He also admitted that he hadn’t been in a relationship, or had had
as much as a fling, since his split with singer Charlotte Church six
months ago.
“I’ve been linked with all kinds of women, including my amazing
dance partner Katya, but sadly none of those rumours have been true,”
he said.
He also hinted that there was someone out there who he’d like to get to know better.
“About the only person I haven’t been linked with is Cheryl Cole,
although it wouldn’t be such a bad thing if I was!” he continued.
“To be honest I think I’ve forgotten how to get a girlfriend, it’s been such a long time.
But now Henson seems to have found himself a secret romantic weapon.
“In the past I’ve been jealous of the guys who can just get up and
dance, so with a bit of luck I might be able to turn some heads myself
now!” he laughed.
