Photographs have emerged showing Liz Hurley and Shane embracing, fuelling rumours they are having an affair.
The pictures published in Sunday’s News of The World showed the unlikely pair kissing in the foyer of a London restaurant and looking out from a hotel bedroom together.
The story claimed that model and actrees Hurley had spent two nights with the retired Aussie cricketer Warne in his London hotel suite.
Warne, 41, apparently checked into a £1,750 a night suite at the Bentley hotel in South Kensington before Hurley arrived.
Onlookers said the two locked lips passionately on the pavement outside before disappearing into the 5 star hotel.
The pair spent the afternoon at the hotel before venturing out for a party at the Sake No Hana restaurant with Hurley’s ex Hugh Grant.
The pair met at Goodwood races in July and have apparently been exchanging flirty Twitter messages over the summer.
Hurley has been dogged by recent reports that her 3 year marriage to Indian tycoon Arun Nayar, 45, was over.
Soon after the pictures were publised, Hurley, 45 confirmed this on her Twitter page.
‘Not a great day. For the record, my husband Arun & I separated a few months ago. Our close family & friends were aware of this,’ She tweeted.
Hurley is mother to eight-year-old Damian, from a previous relationship with American businessman Steve Bing.
Warne has also had his share of relationship ups and downs. He divorced his wife Simone in 2007 after a string of affairs. The couple have three children together.
