A British tabloid alleged that Keibler, a former WWE wrestler, had told friends that Clooney was unwilling to commit and so the relationship had ended.
The couple had just spent the summer in Lake Como Villa in Italy where Keibler had met Clooney’s parents.
In an interview in early 2011 with CNN’s Piers Morgan, George said he had no plans to marry again, implying he wasn’t a very good husband the first time round.
Clooney said “I hate to blow your whole news story, but I was married. Yeah, so I’ve proven how good I was at it, and I just…I’m allowed one.”
