Before descending into the bowels of the Dungeon, guests can steel their nerves with a tot of gin or an authentic Victorian cocktail served by a darkly mischievous Victorian barmaid (cue saucy jokes) in the decadent Gin Palace Bar. After delving into the well-stocked dressing up box it’s time to leave the modern working world behind, and embark on a thrill filled journey through 1,000 years of London’s murky past.

For those looking to indulge themselves further, there’s the Lates Velvet ticket with some decadent added extras including pie canapés with Mrs Lovett, entry to the Gin Palace’s Private Members area, and a selection of surprise tipples and alcohol infused remedies to calm the nerves throughout their 60 minute tour.

You’ll meet Sweeney Todd and his evil sidekick Mrs Lovett, escape the plague-ridden streets of the 1665 and visit the Jack The Rippers favoured haunt, the Ten Bells Pub in Whitechapel.

Then you’ll all head back to the Gin Palace Bar for a traditional gin cocktail and good-old Victorian pub banter and music. Sounds like an agreeable end to the evening.
