What’s the show this week about?
It’s all about having a really good time, with a great comedy show in a lovely pub in the West End.
It’s also about giraffes, Never Mind The Buzzcocks and growing up in a strip joint.
What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you?
I have sunk up to my neck in quicksand with Joan Rivers.
She was exploring sexual fantasies on her TV show. I had probably best leave it there.
However, I should just underline that Joan Rivers wasn’t actually part of the sexual fantasy.
Who’s your comedy idol?
Probably Jesus. One of the first stand-ups to ever exist.
His sermon on the mount routine is classic, but taken far too seriously by some. Look guys – they were just jokes.
What is the best joke you’ve heard?
I like to annoy my Israeli housemate by giving him all of the mail that is just addressed to The Occupier.
