But no longer is the garden outside the bar the place to enjoy the sun, especially in London. For the last few years, rooftops are taking over from the back garden to enjoy a pint, watch a band or catch a flick.
Having had a few rooftop bars open East, the Skylight Bar – opening this week, set in Wapping is based on three top floors of a disused car park in Tobacco Docks. This bar is no different to others when it comes to social activities. Here, you can practice your lawn bowls and croquet whilst drinking your Pimms.
On the site, you will also find all the culinary delights that are ready for your palate from burgers, sliders and chips, to sandwiches, all with the finest international cuisine and views across the capital. What’s not to enjoy?
