The Old Swan Barracks is in the heart of Perth in the Northbridge entertainment area, right next to the Central Business District (CBD). Wombat Backpackers
Wombat Backpackers is 15 minutes’ walking distance from Perth’s Central Business District. The backpackers is surrounded by high-end serviced apartments and is close to cheap weekly car rentals, quality restaurants and Perth’s best nightlife scene. Prioritising a good night’s sleep over a lively atmosphere, Wombat is a non-drinking hostel, but it is close to plenty of bars, so you won’t need to go cold turkey. There is a pool table, WiFi and a travel desk to help you with tours around the area, in particular Rottnest Island or a trip to the Pinnacle rock formation.
