Yep, spare a thought for poor Alex Lanchester, 22. As she was planning the wedding of her dreams, she received a phone call. It was bad news.Her finance had died in car accident. Everything fell apart.
And then she discovered he’d actually faked his own death to get out of the nuptials.
His name? Tucker Blandford. And he even had the gall to make the call himself, pretending to be his dad.
According to the Mirror, Tucker said: “Alex, this is Tucker’s dad. There’s no easy way to say this… I am sorry to say that Tucker is dead.”.
Alex then contacted his parents to express her condolences, but was shocked to be told he was in fact completely fine.
However, in another surprise twist, Tucker’s mother also knew nothing of her son’s upcoming wedding arrangements.
Had things gone to according to plan, they would have married near Tucker’s home in the US last week.
