Hahn/Cock by German sculptor Katharina Fritsch is the latest artwork to the spot on the fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square and it has given rise to all manner of perfectly gigglesome double entendres about massive cocks being erected in London.
So here’s the details, the cock is 4.72m tall (when it was fully erected) and it shall stand thus for 18 months.
It was unveiled by Boris Johnson who could not fail to notice to smirksome nature of the piece, telling BBC London: “I think if you tried to Google in the future, the Prime Minister would stop you from finding it.”
