The app has been months in development, scheduled for a launch in March, at a cost of around £20,000. The Taxpayer’ Alliance have called it “a distraction and a waste of money.”
It is said to follow a system of analysis called ‘sabermetric’ – recently seen in the Brad Pitt Oscar-nominated baseball statistic film, Moneyball.
