Highlights over the four days include a trio of exclusive headline performances, including the only UK show from the Red Hot Chili Peppers on Saturday, June 14, a UK and Ireland festival exclusive from Kings of Leon on Sunday, June 15 and an English festival exclusive from Biffy Clyro plus superstar Calvin Harris who closes the night on Friday, June 13.
Throughout the festival there will be appearances from a collection of world-class artists, including Suede, BRIT Award winners Rudimental, as well as Fall Out Boy, Katy B, Tom Odell, Travis, Passenger, The 1975, Clean Bandit, The Specials, John Newman, Deap Vally, Nina Nesbitt, The Horrors, Gorgon City and The Strypes.
Choral-rock outfit The Polyphonic Spree, From The Jam and Neon Jungle will be there, along with Swim Deep, Chlöe Howl and The Selecter.
If that wasn’t enough, top producer and DJ Duke Dumont, Peace, July Talk and iconic British band The Move are on the bill. Also appearing will be The Pretty Reckless, featuring Gossip Girl’s Taylor Momsen, Alison Moyet, singer songwriter Ella Eyre, whose collaboration with Rudimental reached the top of the charts last year.
Across the weekend festivalgoers will be treated to sets from Boy George, The Struts and Anna Calvi. What’s more, hot newcomers Amber Run, the much-loved Inspiral Carpets and tribute band The Doors Alive will all be there.
Rounding off this impressive list of artists, the Isle of Wight Festival will see Dappy, Lawson, The Vamps and The Waterboys all gracing its stages. As well as an unbelievable line up, there’ll be first-rate football, as all the action from the World Cup will be live in the BTSport Field of Dreams, where fans can catch every kick, card and corner on their big screens.
