“Can I just say that I’ve worked at the BBC for 24 years and in all that time, no-one has ever tried to put his finger in my bottom,” the often controversial writer and presenter tweeted on Friday.
The message has remained undeleted on his account, which has 1.7 million followers, despite a tabloid furore.
The comment after the latest revelations that “opportunistic predator” and former BBC presenter Stuart Hall pleaded guilty to having abused a series of women in the 1970s.
Peter Saunders of the National Associaitons for People Abused in Childhood told the Daily Star “I don’t think he realises the seriousness of the issue he is making fun of.
“If Stuart Hall or somebody of his ilk had got his hands on one of Jeremy Clarkson’s relatives, he might think twice.”
I hope the BBC don’t sack Jeremy Clarkson. Imagine how much he’d go on about it. It’d be like hurling wanker fuel into a prick engine.
