Clement, who has had appearances in Hollywood movies Dinner For Schmucks alongside Paul Rudd and Men In Black 3, will play the lead as a middle aged guy who is struggling to balance his life as a graphic artist alongside his children, his debilitating writers block and the appearance of a new romance in his life.
The film will be directed by James C Clouse who also called the shots on the John Cusack movie Grace Is Good as well as the Casey Affleck starring Lonesome Jim.
Clement can next be seen on the big screen though next month in the horror mockumentary What We Do IN The Shadows, in which he plays one member of a group of vampire flatmates who bicker and squabble amongst themselves over the mundane aspects of life while also, you know, munching on people and drinking their blood.
Beginning as a Blair Witch-esque found footage flick, it morphs into something else and is set to wow bloodhounds and non-genre fans alike.
