Taking place at Finsbury Park, London and Perry Park, Birmingham from Fri 4 – Sun 6 July, festival organisers have upped the ante this year with headliners including Kanye West and recent Grammy Award winners Pharrell Williams and Drake, alongside other huge names like Bruno Mars, Outkast, Azealia Banks, Earl Sweatshirt, Chance The Rapper and loads more.
Other artists announced to perform at the festival are Rudimental, Basement Jaxx, Ellie Goulding, Wiz Khalifa, John Newman,
Iggy Azalea, Pretty Lights, Ella Eyre, Angel Haze, Clean Bandit, Salt N Pepa and A$AP Ferg.
Wireless Festival will also reach a milestone in 2014, celebrating its tenth birthday with the star-studded line-up and one of the most anticipated ones so far. Last year the festival was hosted at London’s Olympic Park, but following its continued success, it has grown into a two-site event with artists set to perform across both Birmingham’s Perry Park and London’s Finsbury Park over the three days.
Steve Homer, Wireless Festival promoter, yesterday told The Telegraph, “Wireless Festival celebrates its tenth year this year and we couldn’t be more thrilled to mark this momentous anniversary by taking it to a second site, Perry Park in Birmingham, and a brand new site in London, Finsbury Park. We are delighted to be welcoming back Drake and Kanye West as headliners and thrilled to secure Bruno Mars for his first UK Festival headline performance. They are perfect for Wireless Festival, securing these three artists plus many more world class acts continues to cement our reputation as a world-class leader on the festival circuit.”
