The Beckhams aren’t the only ones celebrating a new arrival – actress Kate Hudson and Muse frontman Matt Bellamy also became proud parents this weekend.
Hudson, 32, gave birth to a healthy baby boy this Saturday in Los Angeles. He is her first child with fiancé Bellamy, 33, who will be half-brother to Hudson’s seven-year-old son, Ryder.
Hudson’s mother, Goldie Hawn tweeted yesterday: “Thank you all for your good wishes for the birth of our grandson! We are over the moon! Kate and baby happy and healthy! Blessings abound.”

Hudson said she didn’t know what sex the baby was before its birth, but had previously revealed on The Today Show that she had a feeling it would be a girl. The baby’s name has not been announced yet, however, according to US Weekly, he weighed 7lbs 12oz.
Hudson and Bellamy couple started dating last year after meeting a few years ago in Australia. It is rumoured that the family will be spending the next few months in the UK – as Bellamy records his next album – before they return to LA.
The Daily Mail revealed that Bellamy and Hudson plan to buy a mansion in Malibu to raise their new baby in. The 7,000 square foot home in the exclusive Pacific Palisades is reported to be worth $5.3million.
