As you can see, it all got a bit teary when HRH The Queen had the girls over for a royal girls’ night in.
With the men out for the evening, Kate, her sister Pippa and Camilla joined Her Majesty in the warmth of Buckingham Palace, donning their favourite PJs and doing what girls do best when they get together: indulging in a rom-com and having a good old girlie gossip.
However, the eagle-eyed among you may have spotted that something’s not quite right. Yes, you’ve guessed it – these ladies are professional look-a-likes, and the images are the brainchild of famed photographer Alison Jackson.
Teaming up with Kleenex®, Alison created a series of images that show the importance of always having a tissue to hand (yes, we re-read that last bit too – that’s quite enough of the smutty jokes).
Alison commented: “You can just imagine the ladies of Buckingham Palace grabbing their popcorn, cosy in their jim-jams and getting caught up in the romance of a weepy film.”
We will admit that we had a few problems envisioning this before, but now, it seems almost possible…
