She told Chatty Man’s Alan Carr that it wasn’t always practical to walk to the toilet in her elaborate costumes – and that it would take too long to put on her crazy gear just to walk to the loo.
The 25-year-old diva said: “The bathroom is down the hall and you must get redressed. So I said: ‘Fuck it!’
“I do quite often pee in the dressing room, in the trash can.
“It would have been an interesting photo today because I had a big pink bow on, and I was over the trash can.
“The bathroom is down the hall, and I was naked. It was just me, my bow and my nakedness. Me and my dustbin have a very important relationship.”
She joked that people would start calling her “Latey Gaga” if she used a real toilet, like everybody else.
But she has said it can take her three hours to put on her crazy get-ups, so maybe it’s not such a surprise.
Carr gave Gaga her favourite tipple, Jamesons Irish whisky, during their chat.
She said: “The only thing I do straight is my whisky. I got very drunk last night. They call me Drunky Gaga.”
The Born This Way singer also confirmed that her video for new single Marry the Night would be the “longest” she has ever released.
And Gaga has also revealed that she will be collaborating with Sir Elton John on her new album.
