One of the most popular classical ballets, The Sleeping Beauty is a spectacular of costumes and stunning sets.

The Royal Ballet’s production promises gloriously extravagant costumes that evoke the opulent Baroque splendour of the royal court, the panoramic journey of the Prince to the overgrown castle and the colourful characters of the fairytale.

First choreographed to Tchaikovsky’s musical score in 1890 Russia, The Sleeping Beauty has stood the test of time and is a good place to start if you’ve never seen a ballet before.
