If you fancy doing a bit of surfing this summer, Cornwall and Devon your spots. Stunning beaches and some of the country’s best waves make this prime surf territory.
Curl Curl Surf organise weekends away in the Westcountry for anyone wanting to combine surfing with a fun and relaxing break in the English countryside.
You’ll be taught how to surf from the basics – go from lying on your board on the beach to riding the waves like a pro!
Stay in a beautiful cottage from the 1840s, situated on a 120-hectare farm. And wake up to the smell of coffee and a full English breakfast.
Once the surfing is over for the day, explore the surroundings, feed the cows, herd some sheep and even drive a tractor, before chilling out in the living room in front of the open fire and a huge flatscreen TV.
Famished after a hard day’s surf, sink your teeth into hearty home-cooked organic food and enjoy a few glasses of wine.
