Bramley Baths has been struggling to make ends meet and the site on which it sits is targeted for re-development. The latest stunt-life-saving endeavour will see Steven Spielberg’s Seventies shark film screened poolside – with John Williams’ iconic and utterly terrifying der-dun soundtrack pumped out under the water.
How many times have you been swimming in the sea and heard that damn tune sound off in your head? Or even done a length down the local pool but had to reach for the side as your mind takes you back to those under-the-water ‘its beneath you’ camera shots?
Now Leeds swimmers can actually live out that horror for real!
