Lille in 2-3 days
Spend your first day eating and shopping round Vieux Lille, interspersed with a trip to one of France’s top galleries Palais des Beaux Arts. On Day Two head out to Roubaix for the Museum of Art and Industry and finish with dinner at La Condition Publique – check out listings to see if your visit coincides with one of the legendary club nights here. On your last day, head to the birthplace of Charles de Gaulle (9 rue Princesse) making sure you leave enough time to load up on cheap booze at Carrefour.
