Lily Allen has spoken for the first time about her miscarriage which happened late last year.
The Smile singer was six months pregnant when she tragically lost her baby.
She said: “It was a really long battle – and I think that kind of thing changes a person.”
Lily’s pain is revealed in a new TV show which charts her career change from singer to clothing entrepreneur as she set up a vintage clothes store Lucy In Disguise with her older sister Sarah last year.
The three-part series, Lily Allen: From Riches to Rags, starts next Tuesday at 10pm on Channel 4.
The 25-year-old lost another baby before term in 2008 when she was in a relationship with Chemical Brothers star Ed Simons.

In the TV show, Lily also talks about her problems with bulimia.
“I used to vomit after meals. It’s not something I’m proud of,” she says.
“But, I tell you what, a lot of people came up to me telling me how great I looked and I’d be on the cover of every magazine.
“I thought I looked good and it was great to be able to try on clothes and feel a million dollars. But I wasn’t happy, I really wasn’t.
“I would love to be the skinniest minniest person in the world but I can’t do that without being unhappy – I like food.”
