An Arizona restaurant is serving African lion tacos after deciding that its current menu of python, alligator, elk, kangaroo, rattlesnake and turtle was getting a bit dull.

The Tacos and Tequila eatery in Tucson, Arizona, is taking orders for the lion meat Mexican dish and said that customers seem interested.

Restaurant owner Bryan Mazon said he had tried serving “just about anything we can get our hands on.”

Lion tacos will be served every Wednesday, costing $8.75.

According to the Food and Drug Administration, lion and other game meat can be legally sold as long as the species isn’t endangered.

What do you think – is it any worse to eat a lion than a cow?
