BMW Chef’s Theatre

Sponsored by BMW, the Chef’s Theatre will feature a line up of top chefs like Vivek Singh and Theo Randall, who will show you how to create unique and innovative dishes by getting the most of your ingredients. World Beer Experience

In this international beer garden, you can explore a number of beers from around the world, including Cobra from India, which uses a traditional Indian recipe with a modern twist to create the beer’s extra smooth taste. Other beers on the list include Blue Moon from USA, Negra Modelo from Mexico and Singha from Thailand.

The Bandstand

Good food and good music basically go hand-in-hand. On Thursday, catch singer-songwriter Jasmine Hill backed by Josh Catling and Tom Carter. Also performing on Thursday is the surging melodic rock band Rubylux. On Friday, pop sensation Lula takes the stage followed by  William Joseph Cook. Saturday’s full lineup includes Sadie and the Hotheads, the country-pop band headed by Downton Abbey star Elizabeth McGovern, London Gay Big Band and harmony swing group, The Polka Dots. On Sunday, 21-year-old singer-songwriter Josh Osho will perform.

Hosted by food and drink journalist, Nigel Barden, this event will feature demonstrations from some of the world’s best chefs in a celebration of British and international food. The chef lineup is huge, but features some big names like Tom Kitchin, Michel Roux Jnr, Raymond Blanc and Gary Rhodes.

British Airways – Height Cuisine

Airplane food isn’t known for having the best reputation in the food world. However, British Airways wants to change that. The airline is inviting visitors to see the hard work and dedication it takes to create great food in the air. Guests will have the chance to taste their future on-board menus as well as participate in experiments to see how taste changes depending on the environment. The airline will also have master classes in wine, champagne and cheese tasting. Also, be on the lookout for afternoon tea which is served every session in the British Airways Garden.

Weber BBQ Experience

The barbeque brand is offering lessons on how to prepare the “ultimate barbeque” with insight from top chefs and Weber® Grill Academy™ experts. Try to check out the Weber® BBQ Challenge ‘The Professionals’,  where some of the hottest restaurants will battle it out on the grill in order to be crowned champion.

Get up close and personal with a top chef as you learn the tricks of the trade. New to the Taste of London this year, this event allows visitors to gain tips and tricks from a Michelin star chef by taking part in a hands-on cookery class, where participants will learn the benefits of induction and steam cooking. S. Pellegrino Wine, Water and Food Pairing Masterclass

Wine expert Neil Phillips will demonstrate how food can be enhanced by S. Pellegrino and Acqua Panna water while guests will get to sample Gauthier Soho’s “vegetronic” dishes and try hand-selected wines from top quality producers. The masterclass is booked on a first come first serve basis and need to be booked in advance on the day.
