With almost a year to go, the events schedule has been released for London 2012 Paralympic Games.
Over four thousand paralympic athletes from 150 countries will compete for over 500 gold medals in 20 different over 11 days. The events kick off on 29 August.
More holidays during London 2012
Tickets go on sale from September 9 to September 26 and start at £10. Tickets for the opening and closing ceremonies start at £20.12.
The schedule has been approved by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), who have listed the 12 biggest events as:
Swimming: women’s 100m Butterfly final S9 (30 August)
Para-Cycling: Individual Pursuit finals C2(31 August)
Shooting: 10m Air Rifle Standing final R1(31 August)
Equestrian: Individual Championship Test: Grade Ib (1 September)
Athletics: men’s 5,000m final T54 (2 September)
Rowing: finals in all events (2 September)
Powerlifting – men’s +100kg final (5 September)
Athletics – men’s 100m final T44 (6 September)
Wheelchair Tennis – women’s singles gold-medal match (7 September)
Wheelchair Basketball – men’s gold-medal match (8 September)
Football 5-a-Side gold-medal match (8 September)
Wheelchair Rugby gold-medal match (9 September)
