Hackney Wicked Art Festival

The sixth annual installment of this arts fest promotes local culture and gives a platform to both emerging artists and names that are established and internationally recognised as well. There will be exhibitions, open studios, live performances, music, fetes, workshops, talks, tours and loads more. Top picks not to miss out on include the acoustic music nights on Aug 16 and 17 and The Tomorrow People exhibition, which focuses on the up-and-coming artists making a name for themselves right now.

Insight Radical

This curious travelling exhibition, … Where Science And Art Meet, was the brainchild of six artists in residence at the University of Melbourne who sought to artistically explore free radical chemistry. It’s about unstable atoms that are essential to life but which also cause human body degradation. Offbeat and thought provoking.
