London Zoo Lates – every Friday this August
WHAT: London Zoo keeps its doors open late so visitors can take an after-dark stroll through the grounds, meeting its various inhabitants. There’s also some tasty dining options and a silent disco (to stop the animals from trying to join the party).
WHEN: Every Friday night in August.
DO IT BECAUSE: They have some cool creatures. There’s a pygmy hippo called Thug and meerkats Pipsqueak and Ringo. If you like big cats, they’ve also got a lion called Spike and a Sumatran tiger called Lumpur. Basically, zoos are awesome.
