Isle of MTV Malta: June 28  

Marking its 10th anniversary, the Isle of MTV Malta is one of Europe’s hottest FREE destination festivals, attracting 50,000 festival-goers worldwide. Bringing some of the world’s biggest International acts to perform on Il Fosos Square in Floriana, it has emerged as one of Malta’s premiere music festivals since its start in 1996. Grammy Award Winner Jess Glynne, along with the iconic DJ Steve Aoki and chart-topping recording artist Wiz Khalifa, will take the stage at this year’s epic summer music event. On the run up to IOM comes Malta Music Week, with DJ’s taking over open air clubs and bars across the island, giving music fanatics a taste of what is to come. 

IMS College Malta: July 1 – 3  

For the first time ever, International Music Summit is hosting an intensive 360 learning event for future electronic dance music creators to gain knowledge and hands-on experience in Malta. The three-day event will consist of a range of seminars, panels, and interactive sessions that the world’s brightest young musical minds can attend. This crash course in electronic music will allow the music fanatics a chance to learn by day and party at night with three electrifying parties, including one sunset boat party along the Mediterranean. Top international talents Solomun, Pete Tong, and Nic Fanciulli are set to command Malta’s after parties.  

Creamfields Malta: August 15  

The biggest dance festival worldwide, Creamfields is coming back to Malta at Uno Village this summer for 10 hours of a nonstop dance party. Taking in the dazzling scenery and impressive international lineup of DJs and live music acts, fans do not want to miss out on the festival of the summer. Chris LiebingDubfireFeder, Guy Gerber, Oliver Heldens, and Robin Schulz, as well as many local Maltese stars will perform back to back sets to keep the party going until 4 AM.  

The Sound You Need: August 26 – 29  

The Sound You Need, is quickly building up to be one of the best events this summer. With an already killer lineup including Flight Facilities, Hudson MohawkeFakear, FKJ, and Sam Gallaitry, TSYN Festival continues to add some of the hottest names in the dance market. What So Not, Basenji, Point Point, Mr. Carmack and Kilter have recently been added to take the stage against the beautiful Mediterranean Sea backdrop. The three-day festival will allow concertgoers to delve into the music scene with artists across various stages oscillating between the sun, sand, and sea.  

Glitch Festival: September 7 – 8  

Launching the very first edition of Glitch Festival, partygoers can end the summer in the best way possible. The gorgeous Maltese sunshine will feature house and disco followed by darker, disjointed techno, acid and electro where revellers can party throughout the night. The diverse lineup will include the likes of Ben Klock, Carl Craig, Dave Clarke, and Len Faki, and will also feature a rare appearance by Gesaffelstein. Additionally, KiNK, Midland, Tom Trago, Fatima Yamaha, Virginia and Jupiter Jax will add to the phenomenal musical experience. The festival promises an immersive techno experience like no other on the picturesque island.
