The restaurant was empty at the time, but Mr Warn’s crime was caught on surveillance cameras – which was then shown to the restaurant’s staff.
In what may have been his undoing, Mr Warn showed up at the eatery wearing the same clothes he wore during the theft, and staff promptly called the police.
The Daily Pilot reported that the police apprehended him while he was waiting in line for his food.
The hapless thief is being held in lieu of $20,000 bail at Orange County Jail.
Local police are looking at possible ties to other crimes in the area.
