Victory-bound Besart Berisha scored the winner in Roar’s 1-0 win to secure a controversial place in the title decider against Western Sydney Wanderers.
Muscat is certain his side should have had an equaliser at the death when Delovski turned down a massive penalty shout when Socceroo Mark Milligan was brought down in the box.
“That’s taking the piss. I’m almost embarrassed … It’s a shame a decision by an official has dictated our season,” Muscat said.
The result means the Premiers Plate winners Brisbane take on the Wanderers who will be playing in their second grand final in the second year of its existence.
The Sydney team beat the Mariners 2-0 to get their place in the May 4 decider at Suncorp Stadium.
