It is the sort of line-up to have you aching with delight and anticipation. Here we go, deep breath: there will be: Slaves, the Kent-groomed art-rockers who have been kicking up a storm on these shows touring with Jamie T and smashing it on Later With Jools Holland; Kiwi disc jockey who has been quite popular on local radio and spinning tunes since relocating to the UK, someone called Zane Lowe; DJ and producer Tieks; and electro-house-funk-whatever duo Arkon Fly. All these will be lining up on the bill that is topped by Scottish stadium rockers Biffy Clyro.
The Biff scored a number one album with their latest, Opposites, a monolithic double LP of a beast that swanned the singles Black Chandelier and Biblical and saw them headline this summer’s Reading and Leeds festival, a rock honour that has previously been bestowed on the likes of Metallica and Nirvana. Simply put they are one of the biggest, best and most hard rocking acts out there right now!
