What baffles me about London is charity fundraisers at train and Tube stations, where everyone is clearly in a rush and doesn’t have any time at all.

London’s best-kept secret is the Brazilian butchers on Mare Street Boi Gordo. Amazing cuts of meat, friendly staff, reasonabe prices and they’re open late til 8pm weekdays and on Sundays – I’ve never known an independent butcher that does that.

When I want to chill out I go to Greenwich Park. It has beautiful views and I like to find a quiet bit and just lie there, looking up at the sky.

My favourite place for a drink is Happiness Forgets, a basement cocktail bar in Hoxton Square. It has perfect cocktails, simple décor and a ‘no wallies’ door policy. Just don’t tell everyone where it is!

The most interesting person I’ve met was the amazing Mr Dean Chalkley. We’ve worked with him a couple of times hosting his The New Faces exhibition two years ago and recently a screening of the film with the same name about what it’s like to be a Mod today. Dean’s an extremely talented photographer, humble and one of the hardest-working men in town.

For when you’re hungover in London try a full English at The Book Club in Shoreditch, washed down with some DIY Bloody Marys!

What gets me up in the morning is noisy builders!

My perfect weekend would include spending time with my boyfriend – he works hard and we can be like ships that pass in the night, or early morning. Then a trip to Hackney’s Broadway Market, followed by a walk along the canal, lunch at Morito tapas bar in Exmouth Market, a Woody Allen film at the Rio cinema in Dalston, cocktails with the girls, lunch with my folks, newspapers and a bit of sofa sunbathing … in any order.

The last naughty thing that I did was to put my recycling in the non-recycling bin. One person in our block of flats has appointed themselves bin monitor and I just wanted to make a point. It felt good!
… sunny, rainy, loud, peaceful, home.
