London’s best-kept secret is without a doubt my local Pardis, in area W2, for delicious Persian food.
When I want to chill out I go to Cowshed Spa in Holland Park for pampering while indulging in their tea and muffins.
The most interesting person I’ve met in London is Anita Lasker-Wallfish. She is a world-renowned cellist, a Holocaust survivor and one of the most inspirational, amazing ladies. I had the enormous pleasure of seeing her at a recent performance I gave alongside Liza Minelli for the White Rose Ball, which was in aid of the Holocaust Centre in Nottingham.
My favourite place for a drink is The Connaught Bar in Mayfair is chic, intimate and cosy – and it does the most amazing cocktails.
When you’re hungover in London you can’t beat a spicy tomato juice and Turkish eggs at Providores in Marylebone.
What gets me up in the morning is my one-year-old baby girl’s smile.
My perfect weekend would consist of long walks in Hyde Park, followed by great films, then perhaps friends over for dinner, and, of course, traditional afternoon tea and lots of laughter.
The biggest faux pas I have made was ruining my friend’s surprise birthday party by showing up at his house with a bottle of champagne, dolled up to the nines, not realising that I was suppose to have arrived at a totally different venue. It was beyond embarrassing as his family had been planning the event for absolutely months. I felt terrible but still get the giggles thinking about it, though.
The last naughty thing I did was taping the entire bathroom doorway with masking tape at my friend’s work while she was in there and leaving her to fend for herself. I love playing pranks on my friends and family.
Five words that sum up London … Multi-cultural, historical, real, vibrant, fun.
