No matter how long you’ve lived in London, if you’re baffled by the city’s geography – and who isn’t? – there’s no more useful resource than this exhibition.
A sprawling 1:1500 model of Central London occupies one corner, neatly illustrating the proximity of the Gherkin to Hyde Park and the London Eye to Canary Wharf.
It also underlines the fact that if you’re basing your grasp of London’s geography on the schematic Underground map, you’re probably already lost.
Also on display is a selection of London’s best home extensions, a retrospective on how London has developed since 1909, and a study of how the 2012 Olympics will affect the city’s future growth.
If London fascinates you, this is a must-see.
