NME, that bastion of too-cool-for-its-own-good music chic, has boiled down more than 5000 entries and is now presenting the pick of the bunch. The winners in each category are displayed as well as the highly-commended and other snaps that banged the judges’ drums. A diverse selection of images showcasing the best of the music world beyond boys in skinny jeans and mud-encrusted wellies.
