Michelle and daughters Malia, 13, and Sasha, 10, were seen dancing to One Direction’s performance of “What Makes You Beautiful” at Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards in Los Angeles last Saturday before meeting the group backstage.
1D star Harry Styles made the First Lady laugh by asking how the Obama family is able to order pizza delivery at the White House. She quickly solved the mystery by replying that they simply make their own.
Styles, 18, who made headlines for dating 32-year-old X Factor host Caroline Flack, described Obama as a “very attractive older woman.”
Unfortunately, though, the group is heading to Australia for a string of performances and was forced to decline the invitation.
One Direction is set to star on an upcoming episode of Nickelodeon’s iCarly on April 7.
