Detectives are investigating claims that he ‘canoodled’ with 25-year-old Erin Stear at a party in Cape Town and met up with her behind his then girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp’s back.
A source said: “Erin met Oscar when Reeva was his girlfriend. They hit it off and met up again after messaging each other. She was really excited about getting to know him” reports The Sun.
The Paralympic star is accused of murdering model girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, 29, and claims he shot her after mistaking her for an intruder.
The source allegedly told the Sun: “They saw each other a few times in the weeks before the shooting but Erin’s been in a state since Reeva was killed. She can’t believe Oscar could ever deliberately kill anyone.
“Erin knew word was out about their relationship and has been expecting police to knock on her door for weeks.”
