Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race
WHAT: Cambridge and Oxford – England’s poshest, most famous universities – go toe-to-toe for the 157th time during their annual boat race, which will be watched by thousands of boozy spectators lining the banks of the Thames.
WHEN: March 26.
DO IT BECAUSE: It’s a great day out and a particularly English way to while away a spring afternoon. If the weather’s good, it can be one of the best outdoor drinking sessions of the year.
Watch for drunk toffs losing their top hats.
