One passenger has been detained by police after trying to get into the cockpit to take over the plane.
As reported on the BBC website, troops came on board the plane to ensure the safety of passengers and crew, and a Virgin official, speaking on Indonesian TV, said that the man had been drunk – and that no hijack had taken place.
